A wellbeing hub, separate from our shop

A few minutes of noticing, in your own words. Then one thing that is actually doable.

Jignyasa offers a quiet, research-informed reflection for children, teenagers, parents and adults. It helps you notice patterns in your own words and choose one manageable next step. It is not a diagnosis, a screening result, or a treatment.

Free for everyone, no account, nothing to download. If you are in India and need to talk to someone today, the KIRAN helpline (1800-599-0019) and Tele-MANAS (14416) are listed at the bottom of every page.

Who is this for?

Each reflection is written for a specific person in a specific role. A parent answers about what they have noticed. A teenager answers for themselves. An adult answers for themselves, alone.

What happens

Four steps, about three minutes each

  1. Choose who it is for

Four separate reflections, each written in the right language for that age and role. Nobody answers on somebody else's behalf unless the page says so.

  2. Answer in your own words

A handful of taps per question. You can skip any question, stop halfway, or change an answer before you finish.

  3. Read themes, not results

A plain-language summary of the themes that came up, what to try next, and one small if-then step you can keep, change or ignore.

  4. Talk to a person if you want to

A 45 minute conversation with a wellbeing professional. 1,200 rupees, confirmed with you before anything is booked.

Why it is built this way

Three promises we will not break

No score, ever

There is no number, no percentage, no grade and no threshold. A reflection that cannot be scored cannot be used to label a child or an adult.

Your answers stay in your browser

Answers are held in the tab you are reading. They are not sent to us, not written to a database and not passed to analytics. Closing the tab clears them.

Support first, always

Free, government-run support lines for India appear on every page. If you tell us you want support, they come first and product links disappear.

This is a reflection, not a check-up

There is no score, no percentage and no result that tells you what is wrong. Nothing here can diagnose a condition, a disorder or a child's mental health, and nothing here replaces a conversation with a qualified professional. Treat it as a prompt to notice things in your own words, then decide what to do next.

Talking to a person

45 minutes, 1,200 rupees, confirmed before anything is booked

Some things are better said out loud. A 45 minute conversation with a wellbeing professional is available online or in person, for a child, a teenager, a parent or an adult.

Booking is a request. We reply to confirm a time, and nothing is charged until the session is confirmed. Under-18 sessions always include a parent or guardian, and they are the point of contact.

Optional research contact

Jignyasa would like to learn from the answers people share here. If you agree, we will store your profile details and assessment answers in our secure wellbeing database and use them for wellbeing research.

  • This is optional. Saying no does not change your assessment or booking.
  • We store your age band, gender, state, city or district, profession and role of the person answering.
  • We store your selected answer choices and general themes. We do not store your name, email, phone or exact address in the research record.
  • Your research record uses a random code instead of your name.
  • Booking details are kept separately from research answers.
  • You can ask us to delete your research record later by contacting us.
